Robert Schobernd spent his professional career in the oil refining industry. His writing skills were evident when his peers asked him to edit their business papers, reports, and proposals . Several gave him the nickname ‘Professor Bob’. His editing conforms to the standards of The Chicago Manual of Style and the Merriam Webster Dictionary. Reading and analyzing each word of each sentence is demanding and stressful; therefor, he limits editing to three to five hours per day so his mind doesn't fatigue and skip over errors. Editing cannot be rushed if the result is to be accurate and thorough. He created a book review site in 2015 and continues to manage it. Typically he reviews fifty to eighty books per year for new independent authors. Bob has authored and published eight crime novels and two zombie apocalypse novels. In addition to his literary work and editing, he assists Addie with their large and extensively landscaped yard. Three children, five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren keep the couple active and involved in the issues of everyday life and love.
